What, McCain?

You want to postpone the debate on 26 SEP 2008? Why?

Why, really?

You are running for Prez of the USA and you cannot do two things at once? What do you think it would be like if you were elected as USA Prez?

(Oh, can you postpone that meeting with that foregin leader what's his name? I need to polish that cute little birdie collar device I got when I was asked to skipper that old moth-balled boat on its way to be a museum so I could retire as an O6. It just gets so dirty when I keep it out on my pillow each night.)

I appreciate you are a POW survivor, but, time has proved military officers (even adept ones) are not well suited to be Prez due to their abilities to see things in only black and white/bomb or occupy.

What has happened to your honor, honesty, integrity? On which shelf of which closet in which of your seven homes have you misplaced them?

Your decision to postpone the debate can be perceived from two views: 1. leadership; or, 2. gamesmanship, as in a hail mary pass 40 yards too short.

I understand your reason for postponing the debate with Senator Obama is you want to return to Washington to work on the $700 billion bail out. This has been going on for a week and one-half, and, you are just now realizing your statement "the economy is fundamentally strong" was a gaffe of yours? You are the one who voted against regulation all these years (26?) and part of the problem for we tax payers to clean up after the greedy and selfish fat cats, so, what is your real reason? Attempting to cover your toukas? Kind of late, Dilbert DF.

You claim there should be transparency in this "bail out", what about some transparency with you?

In my opinion, your head is still back in 1901, and, you think whatever you say is what people will believe. Times have changed and you have been left in the dust, Senator. Today, 2008, we poor and dumb, general public, middle class tax payers and voters who carry the country on our backs have the Internet. And, with the freedom of speech guaranteed us via the Constitution: we know how to type and we do, we talk, we know how to email and we do (email is still a foreign thing to you, eh?), we have minds and we are not afraid to use them, and, we are The Deciders.

Personally, I think you are afraid of a debate and you just took advantage of the opportunity to stick your head in the sand. There is more than enough time for you to do the debate AND cover your toukeas, er, I mean, "work" on the bail out plan that's going to cost each taxpayer about $2,333 ($10,000 per household) for 5,000 years.

If you were younger, such as your opponent is, you would have time to do the debate, vote/work on the bail out, floss the neighbors' cat on your back porch, go downtown to try on gloves, teach a class on how to neuter plants, and have time left over.

Go home, McCain. Go back to Arizona and stay there, keep your bird devices polished.

Hi, well we are nearing the 3rd n final round. Hasn't mccain and palin embarassed themselves and us all over the last months. McCain is a chameleon and Palin is just sleezy. Now there is evidence she had her house built free by a "pal" she got a big contract for....hmmmm step high, folks

I like your points. I am not a political person, but think all of us are going to have to be more so in the next years to correct this mess. Shame on Bush, how can he sleep at night? I wonder what all will come out about him and the VP.

What a wild ride this most recent election was, eh? I'm one of those fortunate/unfortunate few who found myself experiencing an epiphany with the politics this time around!

My husband is a political junky, he has the TV tuned into MSNBC and CNN almost 24 hours a day.  Guess I got the bug via osmosis, I registered to vote this year (2008) for the first time in my life, and, chose to take the same road all my Ulster family before me took -- Democrat.  Did I do a good thing?  Who knows.  100 years from now I won't give a rat's tutu.

I do know this wonderful country of ours needed a change with new minds and new ideas.  Bush has FUBAR'd most of our great country's policies and laws.  I can only hope his socks rot right on his feet and "Mother's Friend Fungus and Pain Reliever" will have no effect.

Bush and his cronies certainly did leave a big mess for the next guard coming in, but, Bush and his cronies got theirs, so, they don't care.  Now, we taxpayers have to take the heat and cross our fingers this crap gets cleaned up, eh?
