Thought I knew it all way back when I was corp. sec-treas and admin acct for a 3-location, heavy-duty trucking dealership. Hah!
Even studied all those mainframe computer thangs at Michigan State University and Purdue University, all of which became obsolete 6 months after the last class ended. My many thanks to MSU and PU for assisting me in organizing my igornance in a most cracker-jack and most efficient manner.
This is where I hang out mostly now: ; http://allsortsandnotions.com; http://lightspells.com; http://inkslings.com/
Have not traveled much. Madrid, Marbella, Malaga, Morroco, Hawaii, Montreal, and lived in Mexcio for 3 years. (Try living as the natives do, it's an eye-opener for a spoiled brat who thinks she's really "cool"!)
Currenty, I am a Resident Manager for an apartment complex, and, my tenants have taught me, and are still teaching me, things I need to know about life and myself.
I only work about 21 hours each month, which leaves me a lot of time to do other things.
I always wanted to paint landscapes. Despite all the techniques and different colors I used, each painting looked the same.
Cooking is something I always thought I would like to try. The results still remain the same regardless of how creative I like to think I am -- disaster, and thank the gods I've always got peanut butter on hand. I do well with the same ole 5 farmer meals that turn out very tasty and filling each time. (My gravy is always smooth as a baby's toukas!)
I hate to cook. Maybe I can write creatively or otherwise. Please, wish me luck in the writing field? ~Nan
